Yoga and Hypnotherapy Combined

 

Solution Focused Hypnotherapy and Yoga Combined are both holistic powerful tools for mental and physical wellbeing. Through breathwork, movement and deep relaxation your body and mind will feel in a much better place. Often we can hold stress and tension in our body and yoga is a gentle way to release.

Yoga calms the body and enhances mind and body connection. I will tailor the session to your individual needs which we will discuss during the Initial Consultation. It will depend on how many sessions you require but you will take away self-care tools to keep for whenever you need them in the future.

Yoga combined with Hypnotherapy will help you to come away feeling much better physically, mentally and emotionally ready to take on your future with a much more positive mindset.

What the session looks like

 
  • Each session starts with a discussion.

  • We then spend 30 minutes practising yoga which will focus on breath work, gentle stretching and the postures I have tailored for you.

  • I will then give you an explanation of how your brain works and why you feel the way you do.  This alone can be a light-bulb moment for many people!

  • We will work together focusing on the present and what you would like your preferred future to look like.

We will identify the small steps you can take to help yourself and find the solutions.

  • We will work on the positive changes required to get you to where you want to be.

  • We finish with 25 minutes of ‘trance’ It is done very simply through visualisation, allowing you to focus on the positive aspects in your life. During this time the unconscious mind is more alert and can focus on helpful suggestions and thoughts. You will be aware and in control while remaining in a blissful state of relaxation. You will come away feeling calm, relaxed and refreshed!

  • The gentle yoga stretches and movements will help you release tensions held in the body. Hypnosis is a form of focused attention and so is yoga.

The whole session will have a nourishing effect on your nervous system and has many health benefits. The fight/flight/freeze area of your brain - often referred to as the emotional brain settles into equilibrium or homeostasis once more. Blood pressure, breathing rate and hormone flow return to normal levels resulting in feeling calm, in control and ready to take on life in a much more positive way!
